Meet Alex
Alex Homich, a graduate of Alexis I. Dupont High School and Wilmington University, is a blue-collar worker who has spent over a decade in the hospitality industry and several years in construction. As an assistant to a close friend who owned a commercial and residential concrete company, Alex developed a keen attention to detail work ethic while also gaining insight into the complexities of Delaware's business landscape.
Currently, Alex works as a commercial waterproofer on significant projects around the state, including assisted living facilities, the new building at the University of Delaware, the new Troop 6 police headquarters on Kirkwood Highway, and various high schools, grade schools, hospitals, and other infrastructure developments.
In addition to his construction work, Alex enjoys part-time involvement in the music industry, where he has coordinated events and worked in communications and operations for several years. In his free time, he likes to skateboard, take photographs, and travel to climb mountains.
Alex is also dedicated to helping others recover from substance abuse, motivated by the loss of his younger brother to an opioid overdose two years ago. A devout Catholic, he regularly attends church and is always ready to engage in conversation and lend himself to anyone in need.
